Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a club  for students who are interested in expanding their faith and having fun while doing it. You don’t have to be an athlete. The club meets every week at Palm Harbor University High School. The club is run by teachers, students, and volunteers from local churches.

The club has around 20 students participating in both lunches. FCA allows Christian students to interact with each other and discuss their beliefs and religious views. The group also has out of school activities like picnics.

During the meetings, the club will engage in various games and “ team-building “ activities to make the students more friendly and comfortable around each other. There are also small groups in which the students will be asked to discuss a topic with those sitting around them.

“It’s a great place to get questions answered about whether or not there is a gos and why we believe what we do. Plus we do lots of activities outside of school and serve the community,” said club Vice President Melodie Zuelke.

This club gives Christian students an opportunity to interact with one another and further their faith.

“I think it’s important to have a club at school where Christians can gather and do life together,” Zuelke said.

School clubs such as FCA are a good tool for students to make new friends and discuss topics they are interested in.

“ I like FCA because it is fun being able to meet new people that are interested in the same topic as me,”  said member Kayla Reynolds.

The club meets every Thursday during both lunches. 1st lunch meetings will be held in Mrs. Zuelke’s room 6-102 , and 2nd lunch meetings will be held in Mr.Macfarlane’s room 4-205.

All students are welcome to come and join the club!
