Clearwater Celestial Celebration

– With the city of Clearwater turning 100 years old today, the 27th, there will be activities all around for residents to enjoy.

The city of Clearwater has been saving up for these festivities for the past two years and raked in about $150,000 to fund the activities.

The centennial parade will take place on May 30. The Streets Highland Avenue and Drew will be closed due to the parade. The parade will head west on drew street and conclude at coachman park with a firework show. A new monument for Clearwater will be unveiled at the west end of the Courtney Campbell on the 27th. It’s going to similar but smaller in size compared to St. Petersburg’s monument on the Howard Frankland Bridge.

With much to offer to people, this celebration is going to be the place to be!
