YouTube is a platform for all creators, not just the place for funny cat videos and short-lived challenges. A prime example of the creators that stray from traditional comedic videos is the small singer-songwriter community. Even though they are not the most popular, they still have managed to make an impact on their small and growing fanbase. Some have even stepped outside of their internet realm to go on tour. Tessa Violet, Dodie Clark, Rusty Clanton, Jesse Cale, and Jon Cozart have reached this milestone and have officially announced that they are going to tour the East Coast this fall.

These talented Youtube singer-songwriters will begin their East Coast tour on October 14, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois, and will finish it off on October 30, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. They’re performing at small venues and restaurants in a variety of other cities as well, including Boston, New York City, and Jacksonville. A link to the full list of tour dates, venues, and locations is located at the bottom.

Some performances are 18+, but most are not. The performance closest to home in Jacksonville, Florida, is open to all ages. People interested in attending a show can check Dodie Clark’s Twitter (@doddleoddle) for updates regarding which venues require attendees to be eighteen and over.

Tessa Violet organized this tour to promote her new EP, called Halloway. She has over one million subscribers on her YouTube channel, and her videos have over 83 million views. Her videos mainly focus on singing both covers of songs and original songs, but she also does question and answer videos as well as just regular vlogs.

The other YouTubers Tessa Violet has banded together for the tour also focus on creating singing videos, but one in particular has made his mark by writing parodies: Jon Cozart. He is best known for his Disney parodies, like his After Ever After series that has over 100,000 million views. In addition to Disney parodies, he has produced political rap battles, history videos in song form, and duets with other fellow singer-songwriters. The unique content he creates really sets him apart from the rest of the community.

However, every one of the YouTubers going on this East Coast is unique and there own way and brings something different to the table. They’ll be performing a variety of music that will be able to accommodate everyone’s music taste, ranging from original songs accompanied by the ukulele to covers of popular songs that frequently play on the radio. Regardless of music taste, it will definitely be worth it to see these talented YouTube singer-songwriters step out from behind their computer screen to perform in the real world.
