A list of 150 popular apps made by Apple, but how many of them are good enough for this list of addicting games? There are many popular apps that can be either entertaining, educational, or useful to have just to kill time. There are a variety of apps available for free and for purchase, including social media apps, tapping apps, puzzle apps, and really anything imaginable. Apple has many apps on the ‘Paid Top Chart List’ and ‘Free Top Chart List’  that range from #1 to #150. This list is going to have more uncommon apps/games that aren’t popular social media (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc).

The number one app on the ‘Paid Top Chart List’ is called Minecraft: Pocket Edition. The developer of this app is Mojang, and the app costs $6.99. Minecraft is a multiplayer, online live, sandbox game that is available on PC, tablet, and phone. The player can build almost anything they imagine. There’s a Creative Mode, where the player can get any type of block or building material. There’s also a Survival Mode, where they have to survive day and night. The player has to get all the supplies they need by hand during the day. During the night, they need to survive all the mobs and creatures.

The number four app on the ‘Paid Top Chart List’ is LIMBO, a five star puzzle game with a beautiful black and white theme. It costs $4.99 and was created by Playdead. It has a very eerie touch, unpleasant creepy noises, and a mysterious play style. “The price is definitely worth it, as this app is something that everyone needs to experience,” Iriel Hall, a 9th grader, said.

The number 5 app on the ‘Free Top Chart List’, is called ‘Bottle Flip 2k16.’ It’s popular because of the recent bottle flipping trend where people try to flip bottles in the air and have them land on their base.

There are many other great apps on these two top charts. Check them out at http://www.apple.com/itunes/charts/ .
