Beauty and the Beast in live-action

90’s kids especially were very excited for the Beauty and the Beast live action film that came out March 17, 2017. Many were waiting for this moment and rushed to the closest movie theaters to see the movie they were waiting for so long to see.

Disney’s animated ‘Beauty and the Beast’ came out in live-action a long time ago. This had fans questioning if the new movie was going to do it justice.

Emma Watson starred as Belle. Watson sang for the first time on the big screen in this movie. There were moments where the viewers did not see her as Belle but as her most well known character Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.

“I don’t think Emma Watson was fit for the role as Belle because, every time I saw her, I saw Hermione. I mean she is a good actress but, it just dosen’t  feel right,” said Jennifer Manzo.

The Beast was played by Dan Stevens. He had a great chemistry and drama between Belle and the Beast. Stevens was able to pull off the hot tempered Beast even though he has a soft heart.

The movie still follows the same story guideline for the live-action movie. However, there were some scenes that were never shown in the animated movie. Bill Condon, the director for Beauty and the Beast made sure the story went out smoothly. The animations on the silverware and the furniture was extraordinary a very fancy and elegant animation. The setting was replicated the animated version in a live version.

If you are looking for a family friendly romance and adventure, then Beauty and the Beast is right for you.
