An enjoyable summer reading list

– Book recommendations for summer 2015.

With summer comes annoying summer reading assignments.  You would think that teachers would be satisfied with their torturing of students during the school year, but, no.  They assign lengthy summer homework to be sure that students will remember that they are in fact in high school and should not be having fun.

So while you are taking a break from your boring novels written in the 1600s, here are some books that are sure to entertain you.

Selp Helf by YouTube’s own Miranda Sings comes out on July 21 and is a written down easy-to-read version of all of her best advice.

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl is a dark love story that involves a mortal and a witch.

I Hate my Selfie by Shane Dawson is a hilarious collection of essays about his own laughable yet fabulous life.

Divergent by Veronica Roth and the rest of the series are a great read and you can go check out the movies afterwards!

A Work in Progress by Connor Franta is available now and is a great one to read at the pool or the beach while getting some sun.

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg is sure to make you laugh, cry, and feel second-hand embarrassment.  The second book is coming soon.

Paper Towns by John Green was published in 2008 but is an amazing book to read, especially since the movie is coming out July 24.

Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to be a Grown-Up by Grace Helbig is a hilarious self help book that discloses some secrets of Grace’s that have not been shared on her youtube channel, itsGrace.

The Selection by Kiera Cass and the rest of the series is a Bachelorette-esque book that includes royalty and hidden love.
