Breakfast, lunch, and now dinner, Johnny Grits has great food that everyone is bound to enjoy. Rated 4 ½ stars, out of over 100 reviews on Yelp, this restaurant is sure to find a way to please anyone who steps inside.

After my first visit, I had already decided there’d be many more to come.

With great service, accompanied by a selection of various foods, this hidden gem of a restaurant is one that will not be forgotten. Typically, this’d be the type of restaurant people would drive by without a second glance, but because of the fantastic foods they cook, Johnny Grits draws in more than you’d expect, especially for their famed grits.

It’s neither a fancy restaurant nor a fast food spot, but rather a typical sit-down restaurant, but their reviews and great food put them off the charts. johnny grits inside picture 1_2-3-16_aryan

Flavored to perfection, your options range from a juicy ribeye sandwich, which is surprisingly delicious, to their renowned grits, which the restaurant is named for. This restaurant is a hidden gem, one I would have originally overlooked. Still, that doesn’t deter the staff from continuing to cook their savory foods perfectly.

But even if you don’t like grits, you shouldn’t drive away just yet. They offer a wide selection of other foods. With a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, grit skillets, and other southern specialties on their dinner menu, they serve a variety of things, even though they’re best known for their grits. Similarly, they also serve soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and chef’s specialties for lunch, and, you guessed it, more grits.

And for breakfast, they offer a slightly different choice of foods. From their delicious “griddle work,” which includes waffles and French toast, to their variety of benedicts, breakfast at Johnny Grits is one you won’t want to miss. They have several other options, as well, including breakfast bowls, omelets, pancakes, and chef’s specialties, some of which include grits.

They even serve seven different types of grits on the dinner menu alone.

You should come; I can assure you that you won’t regret it. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Johnny Grits is open seven days a week with locations in Tarpon Springs and New Port Richey.

Serving high-quality food, good service, and prices that aren’t too high either, this is a place you definitely want to pay a visit to.
