On February 23, IB sophomores gathered in the lunchroom to eat and be merry for the IB sophomore breakfast. The breakfast was geared to an international theme, displaying tables with a variety of flags and ‘international’ food. Students were able to relax and be entertained by fellow IB sophomores who sang, played guitar, tapped danced and provided a gallery slideshow of all sophomores. Mr. Burkett, the IB guidance counselor, soon came up front to talk with students about junior year, providing advice about how students should choose their HLs and SLs and about how the sheets will be distributed by world history teacher, Mr. Morzenti. The breakfast was used to let students, not just have fun but to also understand the importance of starting IB in their junior year.
