Got Spanish?

The Spanish Honors Society is offering help with struggles in Spanish class.

The Spanish Honors Society was established by Kathy Michaels, a former ib teacher. This is where many capable Spanish speaking students get to excel in the language and help others with trouble. The society is also run by Spanish teacher Leni Fernandez, who has been teaching Spanish to students for 18 years.

“I enjoy watching the students give time and effort into their work,” Sra. Fernandez said.

For many excelled students and students that are struggling to gain knowledge, it is a great way to learn more Spanish. To be part of the Spanish Honors Society, you must be a Junior, have a 3.0 GPA, and a 3.5 GPA in Spanish.

“Students have been doing very well, they are a good group, and they are very enthusiastic.” Sra. Fernandez said.

The Spanish Honors Society meets once a month at various times during the month. If you want help in Spanish because you are struggling, go to the Spanish Honors Society and they are willing to help out.
