Instagram is now Vine…and Snapchat.

That sushi dinner just HAS to go on Insta, like five minutes ago.

Instagram is a popular social media site where users can post pictures and comment/like other’s photographs.

As of this summer, Instagram updated their app to compete with a video app called Vine. Vine is solely for short videos; seeing that Vine was taking Insta fame, Instagram made a video feature in response that could be longer than Vine.

Now, competing with Snapchat, a similar event has occurred. Instagram has updated their app so users can now send pictures to their friends. Both apps have the capability of sending it to multiple people, however,  Instagram offers an almost group message effect where the recipients can all comment on the picture. The biggest difference between the two is that a photo will delete from Snapchat within a few seconds, where as Instagram will leave the picture in your inbox forever.

Will Instagram continue to adapt with the growing app market? Probably.
