For the First Time in Forever…

Walt Disney Animation Studios released perfection for the first time in forever when they released the #1 movie in the nation “Frozen.”

Before going in to see this new age Disney princess fairy tale, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical considering no commercials or trailers gave any insight into what the movie would be. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.

-Fan-girling commencing-

The best I can do to do this movie justice is to keyboard smash but instead I’m going to do my best to articulate the pure perfectness that was “Frozen.”

I’m not one who gushes over movies or goes to the theater to engross myself into another “fandom” but… Not this time. Nope. After seeing “Frozen” the first time, I fell in love with everything about it.  The music, the characters, the plot, and the overall moral of the movie.

Some of the movie was a bit predictable but the way that they portrayed everything made it okay.  I’ve genuinely not LOVED any recent Disney movie up until I saw Frozen (which by the way I’ve seen three times to date but I’m planning on seeing it again and again.) Literally the most obsessed with this movie, I’m not kidding.

Being a music-lover, the music in movies is very important. Especially in Disney movies; think of The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, they all have perfect soundtracks. Frozen’s soundtrack was absolutely flawless. There were catchy songs such as “Love is an Open Door” that were more for transitioning and character development (but still flawless) and then there were powerful ballads that stood as major turning points in the movie, such as the song “Let It Go” sung by Elsa (the perfect queen).

I’m getting emotional while writing this because this movie was genuinely just that perfect so there’s really not much more to say.

If you like Disney movies at all, go see it. If you don’t like Disney movies, go see it. If you like movies, just do yourself a favor and go see it.

You won’t be disappointed if you do actually go see it. All fan-girling aside, the movie is honestly one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Probably the best Disney movie I’ve seen since The Little Mermaid (I’ve got bright red hair, so you can put two and two together) and I never thought that another movie could beat out my love for Ariel but Elsa and Anna are worth melting for.
