47 Ronin takes place in ancient asia, and follows a half blood(half human and half demon). I thought it was a solid action movie with elements from many different genres. For instance, it had a few animals that looked like they should be in the movie Avatar, while still keeping it semi believable. It also had a decent storyline. It was basically some of the samurais from the dojo found the half blood as a kid, and they took him in. He grew up as a servant and living in a shack outside the walls of the dojo. When the king was murdered, his son took his place, and he brought forth evil and witchcraft. The half blood ends up saving the day using black magic he learned from the demons that raised him. All in all I thought it was a pretty good movie and I give it a three out of five stars.
