Panic! at the Disco (P!ATD), an American rock band, has been a hit to millennium children and teens since 2004 with the recognizable voice of Brendon Urie.

Recently, in January 2016, the group released a new album under the name Death of a Bachelor. It features the everlasting feeling of having a good time from song to song. Listeners were not surprised by what they received, as the sounds produced on this album were generally similar to older music by P!ATD. This is what makes them so popular: their predictable but loved acoustics, which keep the audience interested.

Their songs incorporate sounds from many different bands, which is what makes them appeal to such a variety of music lovers. Mariah Georgiev, a sophomore, had only positive feedback about the album.

“The new album was not only exciting and enticing, but it was also a combination of mind-blowing musical melodies,” Georgiev said.

Alternatively, there is one song on the list that differs from the others. It is called by the same name of the album, and sounds similar to the timeless music of Frank Sinatra. Isabella Durand, also a sophomore, had only positive comments on it.

“The ‘Death of a Bachelor’ song is my favorite from the whole album. I just love how it is sort of slow but also really catchy. The day it came out, I listened to it on repeat nonstop ,” Durand said.

Durand isn’t the only person who obsessed over the band’s new release. Annie Eiseman also loved it, and still does.

“It is a great album because of the diversity of the songs. No matter what mood I’m in, there will always be one for me to jam to whether I’m just driving around or sitting in my room,” Eiseman said.

While fans of all ages learn the words to every song, the band will begin to work on more. Regardless of what’s to come, it is sure to be a hit.
