Today’s Justin Bieber belting his 2010 hits in Carpool Karaoke is truly breathtaking content. James Corden, the host of the Late Late Show on CBS, has gone viral with his Carpool Karaoke segment. He steals celebrities away from their management, PR teams, and their fans, and has a one-on-one jam out session with them in his car. He interviews the celebrity in a more natural and unstrained way, while driving around Los Angeles and London. They have a few laughs, possibly perform a skit or two along the way to their destination, and always sing the artist’s greatest hits.

James Corden is an English comedian, writer, actor, and all-around performer. Though he may not be as popular in the United States, his prominence on YouTube is pushing his career forward. Because Corden is not yet very well known, most of the artists he invites to sing with him don’t know his background on Broadway and in musicals. Corden can do more than just hold a tune, as shown in his flawless harmonizing with Adele and his shocking high notes with One Direction.

The artists he invites to Carpool Karaoke have a visible comfortability with Corden that just isn’t matched in a regular interview situation. Belting with the likes of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, and Stevie Wonder, Corden has now received recognition from more prominent talk show hosts like Ellen Degeneres and Jimmy Fallon. His karaoke session with Adele from January 13, 2016 has already hit 84 million views, and the count is rapidly increasing.

Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment is a refreshing new way to see everyone’s favorite artists in a way that is relatable to us; everyone sings in the car. If you are interested in seeing more of James Corden and his show, go to youtube.com/thelatelateshow.
