TATINOF, better known as “The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire,” is a stage show created and performed by YouTube sensations Dan Howell and Phil Lester.

The show includes many moments the fans will recognize from their original content on YouTube. The show follows the problems that started when Phil accidentally microwaved his laptop and the entirety of their YouTube channels exploded onto a stage. Certain segments of the show include why Phil was a weird kid, Dan’s Internet Support Group, and the Crafty Corner. In the end, they realize the importance of their YouTube channels, and their sim Dil is able to transport them back to the internet.

“I have been watching Dan and Phil for two years now,” Lola Kashella, an 8th grader, said. “They’ve truly impacted me by truly helping me love myself. Sure, from time to time they’ll point out flaws, but the messages they say to their audience are very powerful.”

The tour was showcased across the world hitting cities in the United Kingdom, the United States, and even Australia.

“When I first arrived at the venue, everything felt like a dream. We were all going to see them live in a few minutes! I sat down in my seat, and to be completely honest, I had no clue what I was waiting for. The whole show blew my mind and their acting was fantastic. It summed up Dan and Phil so easily in an hour and thirty minutes,” Kashella said.

After the tour ended in late August of 2016, Howell and Lester decided to release a documentary titled The Story of TATINOF. It was released worldwide on the October 5th, 2016. The documentary was made for the fans that were not able to attend the actual show. Dan and Phil filmed the show for the documentary in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

“My overall experience [of seeing] Dan and Phil performing live and watching the documentary really just makes me super emotional and super proud. They are two very hard working creators and deserve all of things they’ve gained from this big YouTube experience,” Kashella said.

It is clear that Dan and Phil are proud of their TATINOF accomplishments as well, and that they always had their fans’ best interests at heart.

“This book (and tour) is us taking our favorite parts from that swirling universe on the internet and trapping it in something physical. Something we can hold and touch and keep in our houses, so that long into the future we can all look back and remember who these Dan and Phil guys were and what they did,” Howell said.

Between the tour, the books, and the movies, YouTubers danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil are trapping their internet world in something immortal so their fans can cherish the beloved memories created throughout the years.
