Swifties around the world are waiting for Taylor Swift to hit the charts this Fall and keep her album-releasing tradition going. She left us in awe when 1989 was released on October 27, 2014. Once again we’ve found ourselves on the edge of our seats waiting for hints of a new album. The only problem is that Swift has not yet shown any signs of new songs in the making.

In 2012, Swift released her breakthrough album Red that highlighted her transition between music styles. Her career took a turn in the right direction that year and everyone knew her name. To follow up Red, she released 1989 which included another world tour, giving people the impression that she might be too busy on tour to create a new album. However, there are plenty of hopeful fans out there insisting that she can manage and will not break tradition.

According to Inquisitr.com, dedicated Taylor Swift fans had narrowed it down to the possible date of release based on her lucky number, 13.

“Swift’s fans had theorized that October 23, 2016, would be the big day. As proof, they cited the date’s numbers adding up to thirteen (1+0+2+3+1+6).”

Those fans were soon disappointed when that date came with no album.

It was also suggested by The Washington Post that November 13 could arrive with the surprise.

“Our backup guess is Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016…1+1+1+3+1+6 also equals … 13.”

Swift is known for her songs about break ups, and as most people know she has gone through some rough times this year. She split with Calvin Harris only 12 days after their one-year anniversary. In the same month, Swift connected with Tom Hiddleston, which only lasted three months. At the same time, there was drama between Swift and Kanye West when she did not approve of his new song, Famous. The good news is that all of those events that broke hearts could cause a spark of inspiration in Swift for new lyrics.

Swifties will continue to hope for another album and will keep looking for any sign of a secret album possibly being dropped. As any true Swifty knows, she is a huge fan of fall. Therefore it’s her favorite time to release albums and make fans’ years. Let’s hope Taylor Swift’s possible secret album will no longer be a secret.
