It’s the feeling of your heart pounding out of your chest because you know you’re about to see your all time favorite bands that you’ve dreamt to see since you were eleven years old. The Rockville Festival will occur over the span of two days. People will be able to see all their favorite band members as well as enjoy the experience of a music festival.

Rockville Festival is a music festival that takes place on April 29th and 30th at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida. Rockville features metal, alternative, and rock music artists. The bands range from the older stuff like Def Leppard and Disturbed to the newer artists such as Beartooth, Pierce the Veil, and Attila.

While Rockville is sponsored by Monster Energy, Jack Daniels, Bud Light, and several other partners, the festival still admits kids and adults of all ages to attend regardless of the drinking. The overall experience is astonishing no matter what.

For all the bands to perform on time, Rockville has multiple stages scattered around the park. The bands have set times and stages to which they are assigned. Last year, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Miss May I, Memphis May Fire, Shinedown, and many more bands played. As for this year, Def Leppard, Nothing More, Seether, and Papa Roach have announced their plan to attend. Many other bands are set to play this year as well.

“It was an amazing experience! All of the bands, the people, the music, the food, just everything was amazing. My favorite bands that performed were probably Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeath, Ghost, and Bring Me the Horizon. I am super excited about this year’s lineup,” Taunya Fowler, who attended last year’s festival, said.

If you want good music, mosh pits, drinking, and good food, then Rockville is the music festival for you.
