Bungie’s Revealing of Destiny 2

Rushed to flee from their home, the vanguard from the first person shooting game, Destiny, were forced to evacuate the last city on Earth. The Cabal, a military-industrial empire of massive amphibians, invaded the homes of many civilians and guardians with their commander (Ghaul) when they least expected it to happen.

A reveal trailer was posted on YouTube on March 30, 2017. Right now, it has over 9 million views, over 130,000 likes, and over 6,000 dislikes. The video explains the plot of what might be going on in the game’s story-line when it gets released in September 8th, 2017.

The trailer shows the vanguard, Cayde-6 (Hunter), and Commander Zavala (Titan), trying to inspire the guardians who have been around for years, helping fight against the oncoming onslaught of fallen, taken, and hive.

Cayde-6’s attempt to inspire the guardians added a lot of comedy to the trailer because some of the time he doesn’t know how to explain what’s going on to the guardians who are worried and afraid on what’s going to happen. He starts out his speech by saying out loud to everyone, “Alright, listen up! You all are a bunch of dirty misfits.” This gets a good reaction out of some people in the crowd.

A lot of people liked the trailer because of Cayde’s funny commentary and explanation of the plot. He said at the end that “there will be a ton of loot,” which brought excitement to the Destiny community because now the players know that there will be new customization’s to the guardians and their looks. People are giving ideas and suggestions to Bungie, like to let the players change the appearance of their character after the start of the game, like their hair, skin color, and makeup.

The players of the Bungie community are hoping that there will be more customization’s to their character. This would include things like coloring their armor and ornaments.

There is a beta or collector’s edition for the Destiny players who pre-ordered the game. You can get a bundle, like the collector’s edition, which would include the game, a bag, and more. The cost of the bundle is around 250 dollars. This game is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bungie announce on their revealing Twitch stream that players will not be able to transfer any of their items over to the Destiny 2 game. They stated that characters must be at least level 25 and must have completed the mission “The Black Garden” in order to be able to transfer looks over.
