New year, new performance

Now that a new school year has rolled around, the drama club is yet again putting on new and exciting productions.

This fall the drama club will be presenting Forever Plaid and A Piece of My Heart.

Auditions were held on the 14th and 15th of August for Forever Plaid and A Piece of My heart auditions were on the 21st and 22nd.

Although auditions were held awhile back, a student that is interested in being apart of the technical crew can still help out. Everything from costume design to set production.

The tech crew sets up and makes the show what the end product is and students get to have hands on experiences and help out produce a show. If you are interested in joining the technical crew, speak to Mrs. Timberlake in the auditorium.

Forever Plaid is a comedy musical about a barbershop quartet who get into a car wreck and perform their final show in heaven, and A Piece of My Heart is about a group of women throughout their experience in the Vietnam war.

“It’s going to be an absolutely amazing show, and our club is going to collaborate together on the creative ideas for these shows,” said sophomore Haley Groth. “To anyone who wants to join the club I would tell them that it is such an amazing experience that will change your life. You will meet so many amazing people and learn about passions you never even knew you had.”
