Screaming, running, and jumping in Busch Gardens at night, is the thrill of this event. It’s
that time of year when Halloween comes around, which means Howl-O-Scream is here.
Howl-O-Scream is a thriller event, where you go through haunted houses, scare zones,
and much more. Rides such as Cheetah Hunt, Sheikra, Montu, and Kumba will be opened during the event to add to the thrills.
This event lasts Sept. 21- Oct. 28, before Halloween. As quoted from the Busch Gardens website, it is a “fright fest.” “Unlimited scream tickets,” are available for those who want to experience the thrills over and over again. This pass gives the right to go into Howl-O-Scream every night it takes place.
Kira Wilson (‘22) is going Friday, Sept. 28 to Howl-O-Scream with some of her close friends. Wilson has never been before but she is very excited.
“I don’t like a lot of scary things, that’s why I’m scared to go but at least I’ll spend time with friends and maybe get over my fear,” said Wilson.
Another student planning on going to this event is Michael Peticca (‘22). Peticca is going for his first time as well.
“I’m not really scared to go. I don’t mind jump scares, but I’m afraid of spiders. I hate those things,” Peticca said.
Some people are scared of a lot of things, and others aren’t afraid of anything. If you are scared of certain things that means you will have more of an interesting experience.
Howl-O-Scream is an experience that will leave people feeling thrilled. Even though attendants of this event may get scared at certain points, they will definitely make memories with friends and family.
