Walt Disney Studios is an industry well-known for its production of iconic, lovable films. Many generations in the past have experienced some of the most magical movies they have created. Those generations can now look forward to remakes that will not only revitalize the inner-child in these grown adults who remember Disney movies from their childhood, but also entertain the younger kids of today.

2019 is expected to bring remakes of Disney’s Aladdin, Dumbo, and The Lion King. Walt Disney Animation Studios will release a sequel to the movie Frozen, as well as introduce Toy Story 4.

The original Dumbo was released in 1941 as the shortest animated Disney film at 64 minutes. Its production needed to be inexpensive and simple because of war efforts happening simultaneously. On March 29, it premiered as a live-action remake, 78 years later.

Disney’s animated Aladdin was released in 1992 and, according to many sources, falls among the top ranked Disney movies. Its live-action remake has also been in the making and is currently in theaters.

According to rankings.com, The Lion King, released in 1994, is the fourth best-selling Disney movie. Along with Aladdin, it is one of the most popular, classic movies. Its release date is July 19.

Frozen, released in 2013, has been the highest-grossing animated/computer-animated Disney film yet. Meaning, it has generated the most revenue. It immediately dominated televisions across America due to its strong appeal to children of all ages. Frozen 2 is scheduled to come out Nov 22.

The story line of Toy Story has been established over three movies, the first being released in 1995. The fourth will come out this year to carry on this lovable story that was first introduced 24 years ago. Toy Story 4 comes out June 21.
