Summer, arguably the best time of the year. Where everyone’s always traveling, the sun never goes away, beach every day, endless days of hanging out with friends. Each summer is said to be better than the summer before. But to make this summer the best you must know what’s happening in Florida this summer.

BEACHES
Beaches are by far one of the best parts in Florida and luckily there is several around. Most popular one being Honeymoon island. Honeymoon is a private beach in dunedin that cost only 4 dollars per person to get in. Annabelle Buck, a 10th grader at PHU says that Honeymoon is her favorite beach because lots of her friends go there to tan and play spike ball. Another popular beach is Clearwater beach. This beach is better if you plan on going to restaurants and or shopping while you’re out on the beach. Clearwater tends to be more touristy but is way bigger than Honeymoon and offers more fun activities including a park, the peer, and water slides. Farther south is Indian Rocks beach. This beach is great for fishing and boating. Sunset beach is another great beach located right by Fred Howard Park. This beach is an amazing beach to watch the sunrise or sunset.

CONCERTS
Many singers and songwriters come to the Florida area during their tour to preform. On July 8th Luke Combs is coming to Tampa and playing at the Raymond James Stadium for his world tour. Also on July 8 Riley Green, opening for Luke Combs is preforming at the stadium. Makenna Eagan, a 10th grader at PHU says that Luke Combs is one of her favorite artists so she will ne attending this concert. On August 12th Snoopdog, Wiz Khalifa, Too $hot and more are coming to the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre located in Tampa. On the 20th of August The Smashing Pumpkins are coming to Tampa, Florida and playing at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. Also, Ed Sheeran is coming down to play at the Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, May 20th.
