Let’s be honest, our generation has lost its’ edge when it comes to common courtesy and thinking beyond the moment. Although there will always be those people who will cut you in line, give you awful looks and honk at you in the car for no reason, you don’t have to be one of them. I propose a challenge: a weekly test of your character.
This week’s challenge doesn’t have to do with manners, but more so an adventure. Although money is tight right now, go try out a restaurant in the area that you have never been to. There will always be those days when your parents come home from work, and are too tired to conjure an elaborate meal. On the off chance this happens, and I’m sure it will one day, suggest trying the restaurant on the corner that you always drive by. A tired adult will be willing to pay the extra buck to avoid extra labor!
Trying new things such as restaurants and activities broadens ones’ experience. Who knows, maybe that restaurant will become your new favorite!
