Ever wonder what’s ‘’in’’ this spring? Do you always want to read those fashion magazines you see while waiting in line at the grocery store but never have time? With these few tips, you will be on your way to the perfect spring style.
Don’t stress over designer labels and what everybody else has. The best style is the one you create on your own. Remember- fashions fade, but style is eternal. Lots of stores have sales and items at discounted prices they just don’t tell you about it. Ask the store manager and be friendly with the owners of the stores you shop at frequently. They can give you the inside scoop on what’s soon-to-be on the sale racks.
Studies show that people who shop around 11A.M are more aware of what’s going on around them and are more likely to make better decisions in the purchasing department. If you’re going to pick a day of the week to shop, make Thursday’s and/or Friday’s the day! Most stores get in new shipment towards the end of the week and the racks will also be neater and easier to sort through.
According to ‘People Style Watch’ magazine, the following spring must-haves are as follows-
#1 Color block, meaning mix your more neutral clothes with brighter ones giving it a more spring feeling.
#2 Small bags and I couldn’t agree more! What else do you need to carry anyways, besides a wallet, phone, and maybe some lip gloss? A small bag is the perfect way to carry your stuff around without it being too much.
#3 Ankle straps- Since you can’t wear high heels on a day-to-day basis go with some strappy sandals. They’re fun, easy to walk in, and give your outfit that extra ‘’UMPH”
#4 Mint green. Although I am not a fan of the color, you can branch out to lighter or darker hues of the vibe. Like olive, or Tiffany blue for example.
#5 leather- When I think of leather I think of motorcycles and warm jackets but that’s not always the case. Leather now comes in bright colors perfect for the new season!
#6 Blue and green jewelry. Personally, my favorite; when it comes to spring and summer and getting to wear more colorful clothes, blue and green are my favorite combination.
#7 floral- Although I don’t wear prints as much, it’s always nice to be able to throw on a summer dress when heading to the beach or pool and stores always have dresses and skirts with cute patterns on them. Hopefully, with reading this article you will be ready to hit the racks, without breaking the bank.
