Can you resist the rumors? Technology is developing rapidly and brand new devices are constantly in store. Intriguing rumors of the next iPhone have already gone viral, and it seems as though nobody can resist the hints.

It is said that the iPhone 8 will most likely launch in the fall of 2017 as the “iPhone X”, a water resistant, thinner iPhone with an edge-to-edge display and a glass body, along with tons of new features and updates.

“I’ve heard so many things about the new iPhone and I’m prepared to be impressed. I’m sure the 8 will blow up just like every other brand new Apple device when it’s finally released,” Ashley Garcia, an SPC student, said.

Rumors suggest that the new iPhone will incorporate facial and gesture recognition supported by a laser and infrared sensor inside of the screen.

“I heard that the iPhone 8 will ditch the home-button and the entire front side will be  touch screen. Most of the rumors have come true about the previous Apple products released, so I’m really pumped for this one,” Palm Harbor University senior, Wendy Boehm, said.

Although many of these specs and details are up in the air because the phone is still under development, society can’t help but tune in on what’s next. In this case, it is the iPhone X.
