This year, seniors went to Universal for their grad night. Around 300 students went and they all bussed there leaving around 3 p.m. Tickets to go were only $50.  It was needed to buy the tickets in advance.

At Universal they had full access to the rides and any vendors there. Riley Cox said, “We were there for about 12 hours and many people were grumpy by the end.”

Each way it is a two hour drive, and with a group of excited seniors everyone must get tired. It is a long day in the hot sun and late night.  The buses did not get back from Universal until almost 5 a.m. By that time everyone was tired and ready to go home.

The seniors and teachers attending this trip met in the cafeteria around 12 p.m. and bordered the bus shortly after.

The park closed down to everyone except the students that went and the chaperones.  Schools around here all met at Universal on that night.

As seniors are leaving for college, this trip is a last chance for the seniors to get to go out and do something they enjoy as a end the school year. Every year around the end of school, the school participates in a grad night and says goodbye to the graduating students.
