Senior Homecoming Court Profiles
Meet the Seniors who ran for Homecoming Court.
September 11, 2019
With the new school year in session, Homecoming Court nominations have been voted on. Here are the reasons these four Seniors gave for why they should be voted for.
Nicole Tutak (‘20)
Tutak ran for Homecoming Court because she wanted to try for the spot again and experience the fun of it.
“The reason I should get the vote is because Jake Esposito and I won last year together and it would be really fun if we won together again!” Tutak said.
After she graduates, Tutak sees herself majoring in Criminology at the University of Georgia or the University of Florida. As of right now, she is in the ice skating show at Busch Gardens.
Jake Esposito (‘20)
“I ran for Homecoming Court because it was an amazing experience last year and it was very humbling seeing my Mom so happy by my side,” Esposito
said.
He believes he should get the vote because he stands with the students, for the students.
“Something interesting that many people might not know about me is that I am actively practicing my walk on how I would meet Will Ferrel and that is why my posture is A1,” Esposito said.
After Esposito graduates, he sees himself in the Entertainment Industry involving T.V. or social media.
Maria Assimakopolous (‘20)
Assimakopolous ran because it is her last year and it would be a fun thing to do.
“I don’t know why I should get the vote, all the other nominees seemed like great girls and this was more of a thing for me to step out of my comfort zone,” Assimakopolous said.
Something interesting about her is that she loves to read and is a fast reader.
“I see myself hopefully at a good college completing a major that I was finally able to happily decide on,” Assimakopolous said.
Aaron Jacobs (‘20)
“It was seventh period and my friends and I were joking about running for Homecoming Court, and we were filling out joke applications, and somehow they convinced me to turn it in and I ended up turning it in one minute before it was due,” Jacobs said.
“I think I should win because I am the underdog who no one expects to win,” Jacobs said.
Something interesting about Jacobs is that he is very interested in film and audio.
He sees himself working on film sets and running sound and lights at live concerts after graduating.
