It was just recently announced January 11, that 49 of the 50 states of the United States were blanketed with snow. The lone state without snow? Florida.

The Sunshine State is the only state that kept America from having a perfect record, according to the National Weather Service.

Even Hawaii has snow! Seven inches of snow was found on the top of Mauna Kea, a mountain on the island, which is Hawaii’s highest peak.

Florida has come close to having a snowy winter, but the southern snow storms made it only to the state’s border and no further down.

This snowpocalypse also happened Febuary 13^th, 2010, almost a year ago. The U.S. experienced snow in all states but South Carolina in 1977, but there are no reports of all 50 states having snow at once.

It’s estimated that 70.9% of the country is currently covered in snow.

Is this rare event a sign of Global Warming? Will it happen again? Who knows. But, America should enjoy this moment while it lasts, before the snow melts away and everything goes back to being normal again.
