Have you ever felt that you don’t have a say in what goes on in the community? Have you ever wished there was a way to get your feelings out about town events and projects? Well there is now an event that you can do just that called the Teen Town Hall Meeting on November 29th, 2012.
This event will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Palm room at the Palm Harbor Library. At this event, only the teens are allowed to talk and if an adult interrupts a teen, he\she will be asked to leave. It will be a great chance for teenagers to voice their concerns about the community and the schools they go to.
Dr. David Liebert from SPC will be moderating this event and the panel of community leaders that the teens can give questions to are, commissioner Norm Roche, the principals from Tarpon, East Lake and Palm Harbor High Schools, Trish Harrison from The Centre, and Officer Cuttitta from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s office.
