Early each year, many students participate in something that involves the entirety of PHUHS. Homecoming week. For five days, students partake in a week of dressing up to get excited for the Homecoming game and dance the following weekend.

      It’s an event that has shown our school’s spirit across the student body. Previous years have riled students up for what this year is going to bring.

     “Twin day is going to be the best because people go all out for it.” said Junior Jonathan Bishop.

     Even some freshman have heard about what goes on during homecoming week. Ashley Beach said, “We are really excited for Homecoming week.” And Dajana Lulaj said, “I can’t wait to do twin day with my best friend.”

     Each day has a different theme. Past ones include nerd day, black and white day, decades day, and others. This year will include twin day, decades day, school spirit day, fashion disaster day, and Hawaiian day.

     Jeannie Miller said, “I think as you get more into the school, like the juniors and seniors, you get more involved.” And about our school spirit she said, “I go to all the football games, it’s always a lot of fun. There’s a lot of spirit there.”
