November has just begun and the weather is starting to cool down. In Florida, at least, some days are beginning to have a cool breeze.

Fall brings an end to summer, but in Florida it is often difficult to tell the difference because of the heat and humidity that Florida experiences.

“I like cold weather because I don’t like humidity,” said sophomore Peyton Hazama.

Humidity can be a problem for different reasons: discomfort and fashion problems.

“I love when it gets cold outside because I like cold weather better than the heat,” said sophomore Divya Desai. “My hair doesn’t frizz up.”

Some people dislike the start of winter.

“I don’t like cold weather because I’m a Floridian even though I’m a figure skater,” said sophomore Amanda Cattel. “I like [cold weather] when I’m skating not just walking around outside.”

Although Florida does not get nearly as cold as the states closer to the north, cold weather still impacts Floridians.
