Exams can be both stressful and worrying. These five last-minute exam tips will guarantee you a better grade, and rid of the stress leading into the testing room.

1) Sleep – Having the pristine 9 – 9 ½ hours of sleep high school students need is a keen way to get prepared for your exam. Turn off all electronics and fix your sleeping schedule to be fully awake for the next day.

2) Use time wisely – Every extra 20 minutes can help in a big way, but only if you use it wisely. Instead of looking on your phone, do a quick study sesh to regroup and make sure you know the material needed for that class.

3) Eat right – Make the right choices in eating habits before your exam. Instead of eating Chick-Fil-A for breakfast (even though it’s so good), go for fruits and veggies to keep your brain awake.

4) Create a plan of attack – When you walk into the testing room, know what you are going to do. Having a plan will take the eventual stress out of your system.

5) Don’t stress – Stress is the worst thing to do going into an exam. This can altering your thinking and make you question all of your answers. So take a deep breath, and be confident in all of the answers you choose, even if they seem wrong.
