When entering the cafeteria, all of the expectations that we are mature, young adults go out the window. The place is a madhouse. There are seniors, the ones apparently venturing out as adults after graduation that are throwing food at underclassman like wild monkeys.
When did this fad of throwing fries and salad at people become so popular? What is so amusing about seeing food fall all over some kid you don’t know? These questions need to be answered, although I am afraid they never will be. What goes on in the average teenagers mind to make this animalistic action so appealing?
All I am asking is that would the student body please at least make an effort to act their age? If your mom saw you throwing food at random strangers, what would she say? I doubt she would like it. You need to treat your school the way it should be treated. Enough of the random packets of mayo that litter the hallway, waiting for some unsuspecting sophomore to step on. Enough of the mashed up fries on the staircase thrown there by some senior.
Enough, Palm Harbor! We need to change. We need to start respecting people enough to not stain their clothes with ketchup. If anyone honestly did something bad to you, handle it like a human being.
Stop being immature, stop being ignorant, and stop playing with your food.
