Upgrade or downgrade?

Dang… that guy really got an UPGRADE!  That is referring to his phone of course.  Lately, the technology world has been buzzing with the news of the iPhone’s latest feature, the iOS7.

Apple came out with the iOS7 as a free software update claiming to have more Siri, Maps, Facebook integration, and another 200 features that the iOS6 didn’t have.  The big debate is whether or not the iOS7 is actually the newer and better version of the six, or if it’s merely a waste of time and storage space that isn’t even free of all glitches yet.

Emily Hout, senior, said that she first heard about the update “A month before it came out, through twitter.”  Justin Dayock, an eleventh grader said, “[I heard about the update] when apple first had the announcement, about two weeks before it came out.”

As mentioned before, there are lots of mixed reviews about the iOS7.  It seems that users are either completely in love with it, or hate it!  Hout said, “I love the update!  I think it’s much better than the six because of all the extra advancements and add ons.”  However Dayock said, “It’s kind of slow, and my phone lags now.”

As promised, the iOS7 has a completely different look then how it used to be.  Neil Valk said, “They made the background wallpapers move, which is pretty cool.  And they got rid of the pull down screen and changed it to a basic search thank god.”

To all those out there still debating whether or not to make the change, Dayock said, “[I wouldn’t go back to the iOS6] this is pretty cool.”  And Valk said, “Screw iOs6 this is awesome.”

Now we can only wait and see what will be on the next apple release, and it probably won’t be long.
