Taking selfies (a picture of yourself) in the school bathroom mirrors has become the new, and very strange, trend.

First of all, it is not an appealing setting. A dirty bathroom mirror with graffiti covered bathroom stalls as the background is not “likable” to me. Not to mention it can also be an invasion of privacy to others who are using the restrooms for what they are actually made for.

Second of all, is it really necessary to waste your class time to go snap a picture of yourself. If you think your outfit is so cute that is “instagram worthy” take a picture before you leave the house, or when you get home after school, rather than wasting your time standing in a school bathroom.

I don’t think I will every understand how this became a new trend. Personally, when I am scrolling down my Instagram feed I’d rather see a more pleasant view than the school bathroom stalls. I am hoping there is an end to this madness
