There is another choice

There+is+another+choice

In an election cycle that has unarguably two of the most unpopular candidates among voters, the people want another choice. The USA is supposed to be the Land of the Free, yet it seems the major party candidates are trying to restrict the freedoms of US citizens.

Whether it be banning immigration based on one’s religion or restricting one’s right to bear arms, there has not been a pro-freedom candidate broadcasted consistently in the mainstream media. Trying to change that is Presidential Candidate for the Libertarian Party, Gary Johnson.

Gary Johnson has been left out of a lot of the media coverage on this election and for good reason: he’s a big threat to the two party system.

The political elites in this country love the two party system. Both parties are corrupt, take money, submit to big donors, and they never get anything done. Gary Johnson wants to change this. If more people heard what he had to say on his stances, surely many Americans would switch over to vote third party.

Gary Johnson was a two term Governor of New Mexico. He vetoed over 700 bills, was an advocate for legalizing marijuana, and left office with huge job growth and a surplus in state government money. As the candidate for the Libertarian Party, his whole campaign is led on a pro personal freedom platform. This includes decriminalizing drugs, voting pro-choice, supporting very limited government, and freedom to do as you wish just as long as it doesn’t adversely affect anyone else in a negative way.

Johnson believes that the majority of Americans would agree with most of what he would have to say. They simply don’t know that there is a third option. Gary Johnson and his running mate (two term Governor of Massachusetts) Bill Weld are working hard to spread this pro-freedom message.

When government is small, it is less likely to infringe on civil liberties of the people. This is what this Presidential team is working to accomplish. While others promise to Make America Great Again, Gary Johnson and Bill Weld work to make America, America again.
