The America that Donald Trump has advertised sounds appealing to a lot of people. With a big idea about how America can be great again and a extremely loyal fan base, Mr. Trump has a very good chance of being our next president.

What will America be like after a Trump presidency?

To ask that, we have to look at some of the policies that Trump has said to the voters.

The most controversial policy Trump has said so far is his immigration policy, which includes his plans to build a wall on our national border. Today, with everyone having social media and being connected to one another, there has been a lot of criticism over this plan.

Trump said on his twitter, “My grandparents didn’t come to America all the way from Germany to see it get taken over by immigrants. Not on my watch. #TrumpForPresident

Trump claimed that there was no way that our current border is secure enough to provide safety for US citizens. If this wall does gets built, there will be major backlash with immigrants. The people that he says he will send out of this country will make more of an impact than he thinks.

The immigrants that come into this country to work are very crucial to some local economies. With the amount of immigrants we have working in this country, there is no way we can send these people out without seeing a major fall in our economy.

Another controversial policy that Trump has purposed is the defunding and cease of the EPA policies that Barack Obama has set in place to control the threat we put on the environment. He claims that these mandates have done more damage than good and have threatened jobs in some areas.

“Snowing in Texas and Louisiana, record setting freezing temperatures throughout the country and beyond. Global warming is an expensive hoax!” Trump said on Twitter.

These policies Trump has put forth could end up with very drastic consequences that Americans need to sit back and think about. Do we really think that Trump is qualified to make these decisions?
