Repeating history is just what the girls Palm Harbor golf team wants to do.
Last year the girls Palm Harbor golf team made it through districts and regionals and even got to go to states. They plan on doing the same thing again this year.
This year the girls, Lauren Coe, Ryan Pierce, Jojo Baker, Charley Majesky and Emily Whalen are prepared to win districts for the second time in a row. They will become mentally and physically prepared by doing exercises before and eating healthy and also by drinking water.
Tuesday, October 16th at 12:00 pm at Heritage Springs is where the girls will go up against nine teams with a shotgun start, which is when everyone tees off at a different hole at the same time. It will take about three and a half hours to four hours.
Supporting the team will make them more confident throughout the eighteen hole round. After the girls are done playing, they will have to wait anxiously for the directors to tally up the scores and see who won. The girls will have to either win first or second place to go on to regionals.
