On Thursday March 10th, the PGA Tour returns to Palm Harbor. The Valspar Championship will be held at Innisbrook Resort and Copperhead Golf Course beginning Thursday afternoon.

Thursday night from 7-8:30, Rascal Flatts will be performing in the “Valspar Live!” Concert.

Friday play will continue and cuts will be made for the weekend.

Tournament play will begin on Saturday and will end on Sunday afternoon as the champion will be crowned.

The tournament will be headlined by defending champion Jordan Spieth, who is in a tough group with the competition of Henrik Stenson and Bill Haas, but many foresee a repeat of his Valspar Championship win last year.

Even though Spieth is a fan favorite, Henrik Stenson is being seen as a big threat in this pool of competitors that does not include big names such as Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy.

Even though the tournament is lacking big stars in McIlroy and Fowler, it will be a great tournament hosted by a great course in Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead) and a beautiful place in Palm Harbor, FL.

There will be plenty of excitement in the air as the players hit the course Thursday morning.
