Every single year there’s always the same old argument with the same old questions; Who’s going to be the next Super Bowl winner? Will the Patriots win yet again? Just like how stats will always be stats, the Patriots, are 22nd in yards per game defensively.

The Rams are currently second in yards per game with the Chiefs at a close third. The Saints hold sixth in yards per game but they have the most rushing yards per game in the NFC. All three of these teams hold the top three spots for most points per game.

The Chiefs recently lost an important player; Kareem Hunt. Hunt was their starting Running Back (RB) and one of the best in the entire league. Hunt was under investigation for assault when a video was released revealing that he did indeed assault a woman. Hunt was a big part of their offense and losing him may have hurt their chances of heading to this years Super Bowl.

The Saints have one of the best run games in the NFL with 2 RBs that could start for any team. Along with that their offensive line gives their RBs so many openings to run the ball. The Saints have the most rushing touchdowns in the league with 19, showing their versatile offense also throwing 30 touchdowns.

Each of these teams have at least one MVP candidate in their offense with Drew Brees from the Saints, Patrick Mahomes from the Chiefs and the Rams being the only team having three with Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley and Jared Goff.

All three of these teams have the best offenses in the league but the Rams are the only team with the defense to back up their offense, having the only defensive candidate in the MVP race (Keep in mind only two out of the 58 awarded MVPs have been defensive players). They picked off Mahomes, one of the hottest QBs in the league three times. They also have 33 sack this season to go along with four defense touchdowns.

Each of these teams have key parts that help them win. The Rams have the best chances, with the Saints close behind, and the Chiefs being third. The Rams have the defense they need to keep opposing teams to low scoring games. The Saints have a weaker defense but the Chiefs have the worst defense out of the three and they lost a big part to their explosive offense.

The Saints did win against the Rams during week nine and Alvin Kamara was a bit part of the win. The RB scored three touchdowns including one receiving and two rushing. If the Rams defense can slow Kamara and the rest of the offense down the next time they play, the Rams will have the win in the bag. Kamara had 116 scrimmage yards during the game to go along with his three touchdowns.

These three teams have the best odds of winning the Super Bowl with the Patriots, Texans and Chargers trailing close behind. The Rams will finally bring Los Angeles the long, deserved win that they’ve been waiting for since 2000.
