Do you ever wonder what it’s like to move 1,000 miles away and maintain straight A’s? Ryan Rudd, a 10th grader, recently moved to Indiana. He went to Palm Harbor University High School, and is a straight-A student. He has a GPA of 4.1, and strives to be the best student he can be, no matter how difficult the situation he’s in.

“I always thought it was necessary to make good grades,” Rudd added, “but most importantly, A’s.”

Ryan tried to ignore the fact of how difficult it is moving so far away from his family and friends. He plans to still visit them over summer, and in the future.

Rudd had never known exactly what he wanted do in the future, but he is interested in computer programming. He wants to seek for an opportunity that involves computers or technology.

Rudd’s appearance is average, and is mostly always the same, but his personality makes him interesting. He has blonde hair, and green eyes. He’s very tall compared to the average teenager’s height in Indiana. He wears glasses, and only wears jeans and V-necks, which is just the usual.

Although Ryan is a straight A student with AP classes, he loves to spend his free time and weekends relaxing, playing video games.

Ryan’s favorite video game genre is called a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). The sophomore’s favorite game of the MOBA genre is called League of Legends. He has spent over 1,300 hours on this addicting game, and still manages his straight A plus’.

“I’ve always been like that,” Ryan said. “I loved math, and greek mythology… I’m nerdy like that, and I also love video games.”

Rudd lives in a cozy house in Roanoke, Indiana. His mom and his dad wanted 2-3 children, and that’s what they got. His oldest sister, Alexis is in college and occasionally visits over weekends. His sister who goes to his school, Carroll High School, Amber, is the second oldest. Ryan comes last, being the baby of the family.

Rudd’s sister, Alexis, goes to Western Michigan University, but Ryan wants to go far, far away from Indiana.

“It’s been really chaotic here,” the sophomore said. “I just want to get away after I finish up high school and find a college that fits my preference.”

The sophomore’s favorite shows are all on Netflix, and he usually binge watches multiple shows in one day.

“I’ve probably watched all drama and mysterious series,” Rudd said. “I really like mystery and action as well.”
