Currently, the Cubs are tied with the Cleveland Indians in the World Series three games to three. Although the odds are high, it is extremely difficult not to root for baseball’s “most lovable losers.” Additionally, the Indians themselves have not claimed the title in over 68 years. Therefore, it seems that this is the year one of the two longest World Series victory droughts will terminate.

Thousands of fans are already celebrating, merely because their beloved team has finally made it to the finals. However, it has proven to be extremely difficult to obtain tickets to spectate any of the games with prices commencing at 7,000 dollars. However, no matter the price, both fan bases have proven more than willing to fork over extreme quantities of cash in order to have the opportunity to say that they were there when the drought was ended, and they witnessed the sweet sensation of victory rain down upon their team and their city.
