Since Taylor Swift’s chart-topping 1989 album came out on October 27 2014, the singer has not left the headlines.  Whether it’s what she’s wearing or if it’s press for her new single, Taylor Swift has been all over the media.  Being in the spotlight for virtually eight years nonstop, the superstar needing a break is understandable.  But the question is, can we survive a full three years without the incredible songstress blessing our ears with her latest hits?

The Shake it Off singer puts an end to her World Tour in Melbourne, Australia on December 12, just in time for her birthday on the thirteenth.  We can even expect a quiet birthday from Swift this year, rather than her usual elaborate party.  She really is ready for some family and friend bonding time.

Taylor Swift recently did an interview with Hollywood Life and confirmed that we can expect something like three years without a new album.  Now that’s not to say that she won’t be writing in her free time and possibly collaborating with others.  We can certainly hope.
