–Louis Tomlinson, ¼ of the biggest boy band in the world, has supposedly just become a father, but the entire situations seems a little sketchy.

The boy band member only broke up with four year girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March of 2015, but his womanizer image was already fully developed by May.

Tomlinson was pictured holding hands and kissing other girls just two weeks after his breakup.  Two months later, he was photographed leaving a club with LA based stylist Briana Jungwirth.  On July 14, it was reported by a source close to People Magazine that Tomlinson would be a father with the upcoming birth of Jungwirth’s baby.  Tomlinson’s rep was not available for comment on the subject and Tomlinson never addressed the topic.

Then, One Direction appeared on Good Morning America on August 4 and Tomlinson was questioned about the pregnancy.  Michael Strahan asked, “Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?”

Tomlinson answered, “Thank you. Obviously it’s a very exciting time. So thank you.”

While some believe that Tomlinson’s answer is a confirmation, others are skeptical of his seeming indifference to the situation.

Tomlinson is a well-known kid-lover.  He has six younger half siblings including two sets of twins, and he helped his mother raise them.  He always engages with younger children at concerts and meet and greets.  He visibly lights up when a pregnant woman is in the room.  He loves kids and has always wanted some of his own, as he said in an interview with Barbara Walters in 2012.

This is why it doesn’t make sense that when the news broke that Tomlinson would be a father, that he did not look “buzzin’” and excited.  He left the supposed mother in LA alone for her nine month pregnancy while he was on tour and in London.  He avoided talking about his upcoming fatherhood on every occasion.  Whenever asked what his plans were for One Direction’s extended break over the next few years, he would reply with, “It’s nice to not have any responsibilities, yeah.”  A dedicated child lover like Tomlinson himself would be excited to spend time with his newborn, and that seems like a pretty large responsibility.

In December 2015, it was confirmed that he was in a relationship with Danielle Campbell of The Originals.  He continued to ignore Jungwirth whose due date was fastly approaching.  He went skiing with Campbell in early January and only showed up in LA a couple days before his child was born.

Tomlinson has received such bad press lately that his own mother had to step in on twitter to set records straight.  Tomlinson has donated millions of dollars to children’s charities and has hosted his very own ball for sick children.  Everyone got dressed up and danced while parents were treated with champagne and relaxation.

For someone that is so caring and compassionate towards children behind the public eye, his pregnancy and dating scandals definitely paint another picture.

Hours after Jungwirth gave birth on January 21 (or 22, sources differ), Tomlinson was papped in a sunglasses store.  He didn’t even buy sunglasses.  Nine months passed with Tomlinson not mentioning this child once, and then when it is born, he goes to browse for some sunglasses.

Then, he was rumored to be out clubbing that night, still with no word confirming that his child was born.  He ignored the paparazzi when asked if he was happy to be a father and none of his family had reached out on twitter or instagram offering congratulations.  Not even his bandmate Harry Styles who never fails to congratulate someone on the birth of their child.  It wasn’t until 3 am LA time that ‘Louis’ tweeted that his son was healthy and that he was happy and excited.  Some speculate that it was a tweet from management, as the official One Direction twitter account tweeted just minutes after Louis had, promoting their new music video.  Louis Tomlinson’s twitter in the past has also greatly differed his actions in real life, as well.  Fans are always skeptical as to how much control the members of the band truly have over their social media.  Tomlinson’s tweet seems to contradict his actions of the past nine months and even his attitude towards being asked about his kid after it was supposedly born.

Since the birth of the child, Tomlinson has been papped on the Jungwirth family’s private property while placing a car seat in the back of a rented car.  Because of the private property sign, paparazzi would have to be hired to come and take pictures.  This is why so many people think the entire pregnancy is a stunt.

This celebrity pregnancy has not been handled like any other before.  Tomlinson’s PR team has allowed, and possibly encouraged, his image to be painted in a really negative way.  His management has not stepped in at all to prevent this “womanizer” image from coming out.

Even if the child is real, the public shouldn’t have been informed within the mother’s first trimester of pregnancy at least.  If the family really wanted privacy, they wouldn’t allow paparazzi on their private property.

With so many inconsistencies, the validity of this entire situation is questionable.  If Tomlinson’s child was born, he doesn’t seem very thrilled.  Hopefully, Louis Tomlinson’s true self, the one who loves kids and is honest and caring, will be revealed in the end when all of this drama is over.
